- Teach them correct principles and then throw away the recipe books.
- Remember what you learned in chemistry class
- You can never go wrong with butter, cream and garlic
- When cooking for guests, never try out a new recipe – and always make more than you need – if it was worth making for guests it will either all be eaten up or will make great leftovers
- Measuring cups and spoons are a sign of weakness
- Never make the same thing twice
- For most people, simple spices are better – it’s amazing what you can do with just butter, salt and pepper
- Tender crisp vegetables are the equivalent to a lukewarm approach to the gospel and should be dealt with as set forth in Revelation 3:16
