Snickerdoodles

Melanie

Cream:
½ c softened butter
½ c shortening
1 ½ c sugar
2 eggs

Add:
¼ t salt
2 ¾ c flour
2 t cream of tartar
1 t soda

Form into balls, roll in cinnamon sugar. Bake at 400° 8 minutes. Important: take cookies out when top is just cracking. Cookies will not be brown—they’ll be a bit doughy.
